Description:
The advancement of photographic technology has brought us into a world that no longer sees the out of focus, incorrectly cropped, or just bad photograph. Film was never as forgiving as a memory card and a delete button. This painting brings back to life the obscured image found throughout a roll of film that would would have been discarded had they been taken with a digital camera. It is my way of responding to what is seen as a good photograph of someone rather than a file that can be easily discarded.
