    You can sign-up for free at and create your own personalized account by moving your mouse over Sell Art and then clicking Register.

  2. What does it cost to join and maintain my account?

    Your account is free and there are no user costs associated with the maintenance of your account on the website.

  3. What are the rules for selling art online? reflects its name and allows college students and professors to sell their work. Additionally, qualified sellers are anyone who has attended a two or four year institution in the last 3-5 years.

  4. Is limited to the United States?

    No, deals with both sellers and buyers that are based in various countries. We believe that an international audience helps with the overall atmosphere of the website with such diversity.

  5. Who is responsible for the shipping of artwork, and how does the overall shipping process work?

    Buyers pay 100% for the shipment of artwork. Payment is expected within 7 days after the order is completed, and if not met, the order will be cancelled. Additionally, once payment is received, sellers have 7 days to ship their work or it will be considered void. uses a variety of shipping carriers and links are provided within the website to UPS, FedEx and USPS.

  6. What is’s return policy? allows buyers to return merchandise within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. In cases where a buyer simply does not like the work, shipping charges will not be refunded.

  7. Is there a limit to how many pieces of work an artist can display on the website?

    No. encourages artists to sell as many pieces as they want, but each piece of work listed by a seller has to meet all criteria with information in order to be viewed for sale on the website.

  8. What can I expect from

    Whether a seller or buyer, you can expect the best customer service that any business can offer. As much hands on as you want, will help in any regard that is asked of them where appropriate. We are available via email and telephone every day of the week and will return each question in the timeliest manner. Additionally, is a very friendly and interactive site where there will be a blogging section where people can talk and help one another.

  9. How does help maintain the website? puts a premium on the website and the constant maintenance and improvement it requires. We ask that if any user has a question or concern about the website that they write to for further explanation. Please note that routine daily and then bigger monthly work is done on the site to ensure that is working to its full capabilities.

  10. How are prices determined for each piece of work? allows each artist determine the price to sell their work. However, prices should start at $1 and not exceed $3,000. If asked, is happy to consult with a seller to help determine an appropriate price for a piece of art.

  11. What types of art/mediums does accept? accepts multiple types of mediums: works on paper, painting, photo, print, sculpture, and mixed media. If there is any question in regards to type of art, please contact and we will advise.

  12. What is the best format for me to upload work to my account? requires a high-resolution image for each piece of work for sale. If help is needed, please contact us and we will be happy to assist. For our seller’s convenience, has incorporated a cropping and sizing function in the Edit Photo section when uploading art to the website.

  13. What kind of commission does take? takes a 25% commission fee on each piece of work sold.
