Biography:
I began sketching when I was five years old thanks to my grandfather Wyatt Carter, a well established artist in the Winslow and Camp Verde areas, with a niche for western sculpture and painting. At the time he had a small gig casting resin shifter knobs with basic designs such as bull horns, skulls and eight-balls. During that time I was able to spend summers helping out around his studio, eventually discovering the joy of sketching from his old books, and picking up a lot of experience. I've been experimenting with different mediums ever since, but to you as a customer, I would be best utilized for my development and devotion to illustration and painting. I'm proud to tell you that despite the current financial peril, I'm pursuing a degree in liberal arts from Mesa Community Collage, and also working hard to perpetuate my skills as an artist. I felt compelled to display my potential capabilities to you, so I chose to exhibit various works chosen from a variety of projects past, and present. I intend to update my profile with information on future projects that I think you'll be interested in. -Oasis Mural paintings, various locations throughout Mesa, Arizona. (photos coming soon!) -"Terms of Service" portrait project, an emotional portrayal involving a group of marines who recently returned from Iraq. (photos and more info coming soon!) Spencer-"Thanks again"
